Let’s Break the Cycle, Not Just Talk About It

When the weight beneath the surface becomes too much, support can make all the difference.

Find Your Session Style

I offer flexible options because effective therapy should fit your life, not complicate it. Whether you thrive in a focused office setting or find clarity while moving outside, choose the style that feels most welcoming to you.

Individual Counselling

This is where we focus 100% on you. Think of it as dedicated time to stop reacting to life and start designing it. We will build the tools and awareness required to break old habits and address core issues. Together, we use our time efficiently to ensure the insights you gain in session translate directly into real-world change.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Experience individual therapy that connects you with your body and your environment. We leave the office behind and use the trails around Pacific Spirit Park as our backdrop.

Connecting with nature is a powerful tool for reducing stress and increasing focus. If you’re dealing with anxiety or feeling overwhelmed, this combination helps you feel more grounded, regulated, and present while processing core issues. It’s holistic, refreshing and effective.

I offer these sessions on Tuesdays in the Pacific Spirit Park area.

EMDR

If trauma or high-stress memories are keeping you emotionally stuck, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a robust therapeutic approach. This approach helps your brain integrate difficult memories so they stop causing distress. EMDR uses Bilateral Stimulation (usually gentle side-to-side eye movements or tapping) to activate both sides of your brain. This process helps your brain finally process the distressing memory, moving it from the emotional, reactive part of the brain to the calmer, narrative part.

Please note: I am currently offering EMDR sessions & will complete my training in April 2026.

Core Issues That We Address

Through an attachment‑based approach, I aim to understand how you see yourself, the language you use to describe your experiences, and the sense of safety and connection you feel in your relationships. In our work together, we explore your emotions and patterns so you can better understand what shapes your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. This foundation allows us to address a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Relationship Issues and Dating: Building the confidence you need to break frustrating patterns in your love life and relationships.

  • Anxiety: Learn strategies to quiet overthinking, manage overwhelming emotions, and cultivate a greater sense of calm and control in your daily life.

  • Depression: Activating your energy and motivation, we explore the patterns that contribute to low mood and build tools to reconnect with meaning and engagement in life.

  • Self-Esteem and Confidence: Softening self-criticism and fostering a secure sense of self.

  • Life Transitions: Finding your footing when big things shift, like finishing school, starting a new job, or navigating identity changes.

  • Trauma: Creating a safe space to process difficult past experiences and reduce their lasting impact on your daily life.

  • Substance Use: Gaining awareness and finding healthier ways to cope and regulate when things feel out of control.

  • Disordered Eating and Body Image: Unpacking the experiences that shape your relationship with eating and your body, and gaining practical tools for balance and self-acceptance.

  • Jewish Identity: Exploring the complexities of identity, culture, and family of origin in a supportive, relatable environment.
